The alpine huts "Marbachalmen" in Flachauwinkel are certainly one of the most beautifully located huts of the Salzburg region in Austria. Hans Thurner, host of the rear Marbachalm (also called Ennslehenhütte) welcomes all guests with his generous heart. He treats you like an old friend and makes you feel comfortable right away. With great passion for fresh products from his own farm he spoils his guests with traditional delicacies. The "Kaiserschmarren" is one of the best in the country. Hans lives in the hut from early May to October, always welcoming a helping hand from his friends on a busy weekend. He enjoys life in the alpine pastures with his animals, surrounded by the mighty mountain scenery of the Radtstädter Tauern.
