Photographing this retreat in Sayulita, Mexico with lovely hosts Sara Chaplin and Alina Hokanson was a truly special experience. The retreat took place at the Haramara Retreat Eco Center—nestled in the jungle, intentionally free of electricity, artificial light, and WiFi. A place designed for slowing down, reconnecting with nature, and turning inward.

As a photographer, it was incredibly powerful to witness and capture the real moments unfolding throughout the week: the quiet stillness, the deep emotions, the laughter, and the subtle transformations of the participants. Being able to document these authentic experiences in such a raw and magical environment made this project truly unforgettable.
